This is not the traditional chaffle version. This is more of a bread type texture and contains no cheese. The Wonderbread chaffle is great for sandwiches and
burgers and is a good option for those who can not have cheese or may need to limit their cheese.
If you are wanting your wonderbread chaffle to have a little crunch on the outside you can sprinkle a bit of mozzarella cheese or any cheese of your choice onto the waffle maker before adding the wonderbread chaffle batter.
To make your wonderbread chaffle taste a little less eggy you can do some of the following if you like to mask the eggy taste a little.
Add two egg whites in place of 1 large egg Add seasonings to your chaffle batter Add sweetener to your chaffle batter
Ingredients: 3 TBSP Almond Flour 1 large Egg 1/4 tsp Baking powder 1 TBSP Mayonnaise 1 tsp Water Pinch of salt Optional: Add in seasonings such as Italian seasoning.
Mix together all ingredients until smooth Once your mini dash gets hot, spray with cooking spray. Add half of your mixture to the waffle iron and close. Your wonderbread chaffle will be done once it stops steaming,( you can leave on longer if you need it cooked more) Remove and cool on cooling rack
